WHen will you make this avaiable to use with ps3 controller?

The game doesnt start, I really recommend you checking that, I am in my Mac Book Pro 13 in and meets your requirements to play the game, but one I click on the play button it just doesnt load it just kicks me out of the game, please fix it!!! My review will be a hate (1 star) since I cant play it; if you are buying it recently, I would recommend you not to waste your money on this yet until they fix the bug

I was very excited to start up this bad boy! It did take 3 hours to download but in the meantime I figured I’d be productive and do something else while I wait. When it finally finished I launched it and was super excited… then nothing. It never launched. I restarted it to see if it would help, still nothing. I read reviews from other people and (to my horror) many went through the same thing! With a $21.99 price tag I didn’t think something like this would happen. Now with all my wasted time and efforts I am waiting for a refund, of course thy make that a pain too! Save yourself a headache and skip this!

Don’t listen to the other reviews, to play this game you HAVE TO HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF STORAGE! I’m guessing the other people didn’t have the correct system to play it. By the way, some of the controlls are hard, like when you have to break a door open you just drag your mouse forward and backwards. You do NOT need an Xbox controller hooked up to play. This game also took about seven hours to download but still totally worth it, almost exactly like the Xbox version just different controlls. If you’re going to download this game just make sure you have the right amount of storge etc. to check go to the top left corner and click on the apple, then click about this mac, then look at your storage. Dont listen to the other reviews!

Excited to have a fun zombie game for the Mac, I purchased and downloaded (which took a long time, I left it overnight and was happy to see it installed in the morning)… and then when I open it, NOTHING. Nothing comes up at all — the app icon in the dock shows it is open, the menu top left says Dead Island to show that I am in the app itself… but nothing appears on the screen. I can see my desktop in the background, but I am in the app. So far, defunkt. A refund would be nice. Even if you go to the Dead Island support link here in iTunes, it sends you to Koch Media who (1) have no articles — that I can find, at least — on Dead Island at all, and (2) want to charge almost €2 a minute for phone support. Hang on, I’ve already paid for a game which won’t even open… now I could spend more asking why? I think not. Refund now, if you’d be so kind. Don’t buy it.

Have an early 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro with an SSD drive, 16 GB RAM, 1024 VRAM and this program STILL will not run on it. If I need to go out an buy a new MacBook to play a 4 year old game then maybe these guys need to get some better programmers……… I thought that Mac’s were supposed to be able to last longer and run better with less than a Windows PC but the requirements for the Windows version is MUCH less than the MAC version……..

Just bought this game and I couldn’t PLAY USING A CONTOLLER BECAUSE IT KEEPS ROTATING IN THE DIRCTION OF THE CILLENG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so angry and not happy until this is fixed fast or I want my money back!! the story kind of okay though

Running the newest MacBook, tried installing twice, and the app still won’t load. Better yet, you have to force quit to get it to close. Don’t buy it!!!

Please fix the memory leak! This game is good but after playing for a about an hour I get a out of virtual memory error and the game crashes. Something is eating up memory. Also there are some holes that you can fall thru but I have only found one while getting gas from the gas station. I jumped and while fighting some big but and I was half in the sky and half in the room with the big guy. This game is unplayable currently!! It just crashes all the time! Now within like 20 minutes of play…..

It worked up until the moment when I paid for the game, but then it just won’t download.

If you plan on using a controller suach as my wired 360 controller, you can just give that us right now. If you plug in a controller it just points the camera straight up and wont let you control your character. Its pathetic. They say all you need to do is download that driver, but that alone is a ridiculously complicated install. I finally gave up. I wont touch this game until they add real controller support without having to jump through 1000 hoops. Just a joke. Ill chalk this one up as a stupid impusle purchase. Get back to me when the game works with a controller. Thanks.
